Clinton College MLK Spread the Service Day

Clinton College will host it’s first Martin Luther King, Jr. Spread the Service Day on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 10:00 am 1:00 pm in the J.W. Martin Gymnasium. The College received a minigrant from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) with Tennessee State University, The Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement taking the lead in this historic initiative. The goal of the grant is to spread the service and engage students, volunteers, faculty, staff in service activities across the seven states. Clinton College will join with eight more colleges in continuing King’s legacy of Service.

On our day of service, Clinton College will be offering free books, school supplies, haircuts, free food for school-aged children as well as health screenings and employment information and services for adults.

Students and Alumni are asked to volunteer, participate and help come spread the service!
