2016 DELEGATE CENTER WELCOMES DELEGATES

50th QUADRENNIAL SESSION, 2016 GENERAL CONFERENCE

Delegate Center SnapshotWe are excited to announce the launch of the “2016 Delegate Center” for the 50th Quadrennial Session of The AME Zion Church General Conference. The Delegate Center is a web-based organizational by-law management system that affords Delegates and Alternate Delegates the ability to review proposed by-laws or in the case of The AME Zion Church, resolutions, online to be presented and voted on at the General Conference.

This system is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day online and can be accessed from any location. The AME Zion Church first offered access to resolutions online in 2012 for the 49th Quadrennial Session of the 2012 General Conference for the first time ever.

Rev. Dr. W. Robert Johnson III, The General Secretary-Auditor of The AME Zion ion Church, partnered with Sirius Networks LLC, to offer this secure online system to all delegates and alternate delegates and it gave them the ability to securely review, and print resolutions online at their leisure.

The 50th Quadrennial Session of The AME Zion Church and 2016 General Conference brings a fresh new re-designed look of the Delegate Center. The goal of the new design is to provide a user friendly interface. One that would allow all delegates and alternates the ability to review submitted resolutions earlier than at any other time before.

How to Begin:

First, all delegates and alternate delegates will navigate to the Delegate Center website at www.delegatecenter.com. There, the delegate or alternate delegate will click the button or link that says, “Request Access”. The delegate or alternate delegate will be navigated to a page where they will complete the request information shown. Once they have submitted their request, Delegate Center will validate that they are indeed a delegate or alternate delegate. Once that validation has completed, the system will automatically within 24-48 hours, send them an email informing them that their status as a delegate or alternate delegate has been validated. At that point, the delegate or alternate delegate may return to www.delegatecenter.com and enter their user name and password. It is prohibited for a delegate or alternate delegate to share their user name and password with anyone else. It is also prohibited for delegates or alternate delegates to print resolutions for others outside of themselves. As servants of Christ, please follow these restrictions completely.

If for some reason, a delegate or alternate delegate does not have an email address, please enter this email address This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it as your email address when requesting access. We will contact you to determine how we may send you the resolutions at that point.

Thank you and God Bless,

2016 Delegate Administrator Team
