Zion Benefits Services Launches New Website
Department of Brotherhood Pensions :: Mr. David A. Aiken, Sr.Mr. David Aiken Sr., and Zion Benefits Services Incorporated are excited to announce the organization’s development of a new website. The website includes information about the organization’s five main functions (RETIREMENT BENEFITS FOR PASTORS, RELIEF FUND FOR WIDOWS & WIDOWERS, DEATH BENEFITS FOR PASTORS, RISK MANAGEMENT, and THE VARICK INSURANCE PROGRAM which includes other Insurance Products such as PROPERTY & CASUALTY/GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE). As you explore the website you will be able to view all of the offered services, and forms related to each service, as well as learn about the leadership, and staff.

Zion’s Benefits Services is a department of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church that administers benefit programs for its pastors, widows and widowers. Additionally, the department is responsible for the establishment and ongoing oversight of the denomination’s Risk Management program and procurement of Property & Casualty insurance coverage for local churches and affiliates.

David Aiken, a long time Zionite, and a former manager in the financial services industry and is now Secretary-Treasurer and Administrator of Zion Benefits Services Incorporated (ZBS). Mr. Aiken has moved swiftly to provide pastors, their families, churches and their leadership with financial products and support through an interactive website.

Aiken, a former General President of the Connectional Lay Council, is well regarded in the A.M.E. Zion Church and has taken on this critical church responsibility with a quiet, but effective strategic methodology that he believes will provide stability, and accessibility in a more transparent environment.

Mr. Aiken has tapped the Charlotte, North Carolina technology company, Sirius Networks LLC to develop, launch and maintain this innovative and interactive site.
