The Encounter 2014: September 24-27, 2014
Discipleship: Growing Deeper, Going Stronger!

We are the living subjects of a kingdom, the kingdom of God and Jesus is the path, the road, the Way to the promised kingdom. Our mission is to advance the idea of the kingdom in thought, word and deed, and our mandate is to cause, compel, oblige and constrain other people to want to know the peace, safety, joy, justice and love that are the privileges of kingdom dwellers, both now and in the future." (Board of Bishops Episcopal Address, July 2012).

The theme of the 2014 Encounter is: "Discipleship: Growing Deeper, Going Stronger!" The Bible tells us that if we want to be disciples, we must learn to give ourselves away to Jesus. Then, our relationship with Christ grows deeper. By growing deeper, we can help others to have the same love, intimacy and passion that we have found in Christ. Prepare for two and a half days of power-packed teaching and preaching that will cause your roots to grow deeper in Christ, knowing that the result will be discipleship that's stronger and more effective than ever before!

"So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we say "come back to God." - 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV)
